Realty News
Welcome to the Autumn edition of Realty News. Interest rates have been the focus of intense media attention with all the major and some smaller banks lifting their standard variable home loan rates outside of any change in monetary policy from the Reserve Bank. While overseas events are clearly having an effect on our local financial markets, the Federal Government maintains that the strong Australian economy will continue to weather these uncertain times. In this edition we provide a reminder about the requirements of the Building Regulations for commercial properties and also the approaching end to Daylight Savings. We also take a look at what to do with those fallen Autumn leaves and the changing property market. In a stark reminder that 2012 is in full swing, the first school holiday break is almost upon us. If you are travelling over the Easter break, take care and above all enjoy.
